Lotus Curry House closed for Thanksgiving

This year, because of the pandemic, Lotus restaurants in Marin County will not be able to hold a free Thanksgiving Dinner for all. Lotus does not want to cause the spread of the virus since our Thanksgiving Dinner invites a crowd. Please know that we are still grateful to all of our followers on social media, our loyal patrons and those that support the Lotus Family of Restaurants.

After the pandemic, we will revive this tradition of giving back to the community with our free Thanksgiving Dinner.

On November 13, Marin County dropped back to Tier 2 because of the pandemic. Indoor dining in restaurants is not allowed once again. Marin County joins other Bay Area counties in tightening restrictions for indoor environments and follows San Francisco’s move to ban indoor dining again. Understand what Marin Tiers means and which businesses are open.

“We’re choosing to move into the red tier before the state moves us to get in front of this surge,” Marin County Public Health Officer Dr. Matt Willis said. “We’re seeing more people getting sick with COVID-19 and needing hospitalization. With flu season and potential impacts from holiday gatherings and travel, it’s time to act to prevent a much larger surge.”

Marin Convention and Visitors Bureau created the “Marin County Cares ~ Restaurant Appreciation” to support local restaurants in the county. Restaurant’s social media followers add #marincountycares and #visitMarin to your hashtags for food and drink photos posted on social media and get a chance to win swag gifts from Marin CVB.
